Sam Machour is the Executive Chairman of Altruist Biologics, China's leading biopharmaceutical CDMO. In this role, he drives the company's vision and business strategy execution and oversees its markets expansion efforts globally.
Prior to joining Altruist, Mr. Machour held senior executive roles at several global biopharmaceutical companies, including Samsung Biologics, Lonza, Becton Dickinson, Pfizer, GSK, and Boehringer Ingelheim. Over the last 36 years, he supported or led various business areas, of which are, operations, business strategy execution, business development, M&A, and quality and regulatory management, across North America, Europe, and APAC.

Sam holds a Master degree in Nuclear Physics from Concordia University and is a graduate of Harvard's HBS general management program.

As the Chief Executive Officer of Altruist Biologics, Dr. Kaisong Zhou spearheads the company's strategic direction and oversees its operations. With a distinguished track record, he has successfully orchestrated the commercialization of over eight products and navigated the registration and application processes for more than 40 antibody, small molecule, and ADC projects across key markets including the United States, Europe, Australia, and China. Prior to assuming his current role, Dr. Zhou served as the Senior Vice President of Innovent, where he was responsible for process and analytical development, commercial production, and supply chain management.

As the Senior Vice President and Head of Global Engineering, Grace Ji oversees the company's engineering and operations functions. With a wealth of experience spanning over 30 years in the industry, she has held pivotal leadership positions in site operations and spearheaded numerous greenfield projects. Before joining Altruist, Ms. Ji served as the General Manager of the GE Shanghai Site and played a critical role as the Head of China Life Sciences Supply Chain.

Serving as the Senior Vice President of Quality, Dongming Wang is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of the company's quality system. Drawing upon a distinguished career, he has accumulated extensive experience in quality and has served in technical leadership roles at AstraZeneca, Novartis, Roche, and BeiGene. Additionally, Mr. Wang serves as the Deputy Secretary of the China Biochemistry Products and Testing Technology Committee.

As the Vice President of Business Development, Joon Chang oversees Sales, Marketing, and Business Development initiatives, driving the company's expansion and strategic partnerships. His previous roles include Head of Sales Operations and Head of Project Management at Samsung Biologics, where he drove the sales strategy and sales execution as well as alliance management.

As the Vice President of Manufacturing, Kevin Yin leads the manufacturing operations at Altruist Biologics with over 20 years of extensive expertise in manufacturing, technology, quality assurance, and project management. He has held various leadership positions at GSK, Novartis, and Innovent, where he led successful product development and commercialization projects. Mr. Yin’s expertise in GMP plant operations and audit management has been instrumental in achieving efficient and high-quality outcomes.

Serving as the Vice President of Supply Chain Management, Ken Qiu brings 18 years of industry expertise to his role, including 17 years in leading global and local pharmaceutical companies. He has a strong background in Supply Chain Organization Development and end-to-end supply chain management. Mr. Qiu holds certifications as a Project Management Professional and Supply Chain Operations Reference-Professional. Previously, he played a key role in the successful new product launches in the Chinese & EU market for Henlius, which achieved the fastest New Product Launch (NPL) in the Chinese bio-pharmaceutical industry. He also led the NPL projects for Roche PTSH and contributed to inventory optimization initiatives for both Roche and Fosun.

As the Head of Global Regulatory Affairs & Technical Innovation, Dr. Siu oversees regulatory compliance, develops regulatory strategies to support product development and commercialization, and drives technical innovation. He is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. He has held leadership roles in regulatory affairs, CMC strategy, process development, MSAT, and GMP manufacturing at global companies, including Genentech, Roche, Pfizer, and Sanofi. His experience also includes serving as a reviewer at the Health Sciences Authority, Singapore's regulatory agency. Dr. Siu holds a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from University College London and an Executive MBA from Rutgers University.

As the Executive Director of Project Management, Xu Lu oversees project management and operational excellence initiatives. Her background includes diverse leadership roles in supply chain, operational excellence, and third-party management at GSK and Abbott. With this extensive experience, Ms. Lu brings valuable expertise to drive efficiency and strategic alignment in project execution at Altruist Biologics.
